Donna Powell, DO

Dr. Powell is board certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine. She is married with three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially taking family bike rides and going to her children’s sporting events. She also enjoys competing in fitness competitions, dancing, cooking and making people laugh.

Her favorite part of her career is being able to truly touch people’s lives. She is very passionate about colorectal cancer screening and promoting a lifestyle to keep the gastrointestinal tract healthy. Dr. Powell treats a multitude of gastrointestinal diseases affecting the esophagus, stomach, small intestine/colon including inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease including hepatitis. The best part of Dr. Powell’s day is when patients express how much better they are feeling! She strives to treat each and every patient as if they were her own family member, which contributes to the excellent care of her patients.
