To Our Valued Patients:

We wanted to share with you specific actions we are taking to help break the cycle of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and safeguard both our patients and team during this unprecedented time.

Rest assured, our practice is still open during this time, and our providers and team members are available to continue your care.

  • Time-Sensitive Care – Our team will be limiting our in-person office visits and procedures to time-sensitive care only. New clinical guidelines released by the four major GI medical societies encourage all elective, non-urgent procedures be rescheduled (such as a screening colonoscopy). In order to continue to provide timely and needed care, procedures which are determined by our providers to be urgent and time-sensitive will still be performed. If your scheduled office or procedure appointment will be impacted in any way, you will be contacted by our team.
  • Telehealth – While we are continuing care for patients in our offices and endoscopy centers, in the coming days, we will also begin offering HIPAA-compliant telehealth services to all new and existing patients. This will allow our patients to securely consult with their physician from the safety and comfort of their own home, a service covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and select insurance providers.
  • Reduced Hours – We have consolidated our care team to key clinic and endoscopy locations in order to minimize exposure risk for our staff and patients, while still being able to provide high-quality digestive healthcare to the communities we serve. Some of our locations have reduced their hours or temporarily closed during this time. If your scheduled appointment will be moved to a new date, time or location, you will be contacted by our team.
  • During Your Next Visit – To limit the number of people in our lobby areas, you may be asked to provide your cell phone number during check-in so you may wait in either your car or in a more spacious area until an exam room is ready for you. For our infusion patients, you can expect expedited triage, masks, and more space between recliners during your appointment.

We have taken these measures with both your and our team’s safety in mind.

As always, we are here for you during this time through patient portal messaging, phone calls, in-person visits, and in a few days, telehealth visits as well.
