Gwendolyn Shearer, PA-C

Gwendolyn Shearer holds a bachelor’s in biology from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA with a minor in dance. While there, she served as a forensic pathology intern for the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office. Gwendolyn received her master of medical science degree from the physician assistant program at Mercer University in Atlanta where she was and continues to be a member of the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.

She previously served as a phlebotomist for Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, a volunteer medical assistant at Good Samaritan in Atlanta, and a lab technician at Atlanta Research and Education Foundation in Decatur. Gwendolyn is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants. She also holds certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.
