Jacob holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kent State University in Ohio. He began his career in healthcare as a medical assistant for a family practice physician in Ohio and at Cincinnati Children’s® Hospital. Jacob then attended the University of the Cumberlands in Florence, Ky., where he received a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies.

Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Jacob is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.

Jacob joined Gastroenterology Associates of Southwest Florida in 2023.
