A native of Virginia, Dr. Fox is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland and Harvard Medical School. Following his internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville. In addition, he holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts.
For the eleventh consecutive year, Dr. Fox was voted by a committee of his peers to Atlanta magazine's "Top Doctors" guide – a list of top physicians in the metro area. Over the past decade, Dr. Fox has held many leadership roles in his field. He also currently serves as an associate clinical professor at Emory University. Dr. Fox is a graduate of the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) program, a healthcare leadership certification through the American Association for Physician Leadership and Certifying Commission in Medical Management.
