Julie graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, as well as a master’s degree in nursing through the family nurse practitioner program at the Byrdine F. Lewis School of Health Science.

Most recently, Julie worked as an infectious disease nurse practitioner for Emory University’s Hope Clinic in Decatur, Ga. Prior to the Hope Clinic, Julie spent five years as a nurse scholar at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Sandy Springs, Ga.

Julie is a certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse and holds certifications in both basic and advanced cardiac life support from the American Red Cross.

Julie is fluent in Vietnamese and joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2021.
