Areas of Interest

Laurie is a board-certified physician assistant with more than 10 years of experience in clinical medicine, including nearly a decade in gastroenterology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is proud to care for patients at Gastroenterology of Greater Orlando’s Orange City and Lake Mary locations.  

Her background includes four years in colorectal surgery and extensive experience treating digestive and colorectal conditions in both hospital and clinic settings. Laurie has a special interest in women’s digestive health, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colorectal disorders. She has also served as a sub-investigator on clinical trials in gastroenterology, asthma, and cardiovascular disease.  

She is passionate about patient education and shared decision-making, empowering individuals to take an active role in improving their digestive health.

Outside of work, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cooking, reading, and visiting the beach.
