Dr. Bays received his Pharmacy Degree from Ferris State University. He received his Medical Degree and his Internal Medicine Residency from Michigan State University. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He is presently the Director of Osteopathic Medical Education in Fort Myers. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Nova Osteopathic University and Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Bays joined Gastroenterology Associates of SW Florida in 1995.
