Dr. Gjeorgjievski is originally from Macedonia, where he completed medical school at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, winning multiple awards as a medical student graduating with highest achievements.
Dr. Gjeorgjievski completed his internal medicine residency at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he received the Beaumont Internal Medicine Resident of the Year Award and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Gjeorgjievski completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology there as well and served as one of the Chief Gastroenterology Fellows. Most recently, he completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he received dedicated training in bariatric endoscopy, third space endoscopy including peroral endoscopic myotomy POEM, antireflux endoscopy therapy, EUS, and ERCP.Read More
