Rayann is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. While there, she received an award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, served as treasurer of the Student Nurses Association, and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, a nursing honor society.

She continued her education at Palm Beach Atlantic University, earning both a master’s degree in nursing as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. While completing her master’s and doctorate degrees, Rayann served as an ICU stepdown nurse extern and registered nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach and as an infectious disease research assistant at Midway Specialty Care Center where she participated in the implementation of a rapid entry to care program for patients diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

A certified family nurse practitioner, Rayann also holds certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support, as well as the NIH Stroke Scale. She joined Gastroenterology Associates of Southwest Florida in 2024.

I chose gastroenterology because everyone has a gut feeling—literally. GI issues are universal, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help patients navigate and resolve these common challenges.
