Dr. Rashbaum is a graduate of Boston University and the Boston University School of Medicine where he completed a six-year program and received both his bachelor’s degree and medical degree. After completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Dr. Rashbaum completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville.

He has actively participated in a number of clinical research trials throughout his career and has presented posters at regional and national conferences, including the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Rashbaum is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Medical Association of Georgia and the Johns Creek Health Association.

Dr. Rashbaum specializes in treating a variety of gastrointestinal issues and in addition to providing thorough clinical consultative evaluations, he performs several procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, esophageal dilation, and capsule endoscopy.

He began his career practicing in both Florida and North Carolina, and moved to Georgia in 2006 where he worked for both Advanced Gastroenterology Associates and the Gastric Health Institute. He joined Digestive Care Physicians in May 2011.
