A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the State University at Buffalo in New York, Dr. Morris also received his medical degree from the University. Following his internship and residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Dr. Morris completed a fellowship in digestive diseases at the University of Miami. He also holds a juris doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law.

He is past president of the Georgia Gastrointestinal Society and previously served as chief of staff at Emory University Hospital Midtown Hospital. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia.

Dr. Morris is a clinical associate professor with the Emory University School of Medicine and joined the practice in 1978.
