United Digestive, a leading gastroenterology practice management company, today announced Neal C. Patel, MD, as its chief strategy officer (CSO).

Dr. Patel joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, an affiliated practice of United Digestive, in 2014 and served on the organization’s physician executive committee. More recently, he served as Vice President of Clinical Development for United Digestive and was a leader on the organization’s COVID-19 response team.

In addition to focusing on growth initiatives as CSO, Dr. Patel will continue his clinical practice based in midtown Atlanta.
