United Digestive is proud to announce that their Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Supervisor, Kim Orleck, PA-C, has been selected for two leadership roles within nationally recognized professional associations.
- American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) – Kim was asked to join Mary Vetter, a nurse practitioner with the University of Rochester Medical Center, as the voice of the APP in planning of the ACG 2021 Annual Meeting, ensuring all applicable sessions are relevant to APPs. The annual meeting will be held in Las Vegas at the end of October.
- Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP) – Kim was also selected to be the chair for the GHAPP Education Committee. This committee will help to create the curriculum presented at the upcoming annual GHAPP conference, GHAPP regional meetings, and online programs. Kim will serve a two-year term as chair.
