Vickie is a graduate of Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, where she received both an associate’s and bachelor’s degree in nursing. She also holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Vickie has more than 30 years of nursing experience in areas such as intensive care, labor and delivery, infection control, digestive disease, and endoscopy. Most recently, she worked at Atlanta South Gastroenterology as an adult nurse practitioner, the practice administrator, as well as the nurse administrator for the practice’s outpatient surgical center – Atlanta South Endoscopy Center.

Vickie is a certified professional in healthcare quality and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality, the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.

In 2016, Vickie and the providers of Atlanta South Gastroenterology joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates.
