Alix is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology as a member of the University Scholars Program. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Penn State University in Hershey, Pa., graduating first in her class.

During undergraduate school, Alix worked as a patient care assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and as a clinical research assistant at Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta. She has also served as a medical assistant for Saratoga Schenectady Gastroenterology Associates and New York Oncology Hematology, both in Albany, N.Y. Most recently, she was a physician assistant for Southeast Medical Group in Atlanta.

Alix holds a Physician Assistant Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is certified in basic life support. She has also completed Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) training and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and The Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers Association (GHAPP).

Alix joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2024.
