Haleigh is a dedicated physician assistant who provides high-quality patient care. With experience in women's health and urgent care settings, Haleigh is well-equipped to manage a wide range of GI conditions.

Haleigh earned her Bachelor of Science in biology, graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia. She went on to complete her Master of Health Science in physician assistant studies at South College in Nashville, Tenn., achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Professionally, Haleigh gained valuable experience as a medical assistant at the Women’s Center of Athens, where she provided direct patient care and assisted with various procedures. Most recently, she worked as a physician assistant at Urgent Care of Oconee, where she treated patients with a variety of urgent and chronic conditions.

As a certified physician assistant, Haleigh stays up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and advancements. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Haleigh is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Haleigh joined Gastroenterology Associates of Athens in 2025, bringing her expertise and passion for delivering personalized care to patients.

Why Gastroenterology?

From metabolism to digestion, our GI system encompasses a variety of organs that work together to fuel our bodies which I think is really neat. I hope to help my patients come to understand their GI conditions and to find a treatment regimen that will help them live more fulfilling lives.
