Ashley Holland is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a B.A. in international studies and medical anthropology. In addition, she holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, MI, and a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.

Ashley’s career experience includes internships with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and with AmeriCorps Health Education and Community Health Services. While at the University of Michigan, she served as program coordinator at the Trotter Multicultural Center and as a researcher in the School of Public Health. She also served as a clinical researcher for the Department of Neurology, University of Michigan Hospitals. More recently, she worked as a dental health educator for Community Health Services in Charlotte, NC.

Ashley is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2009.
