Corrie is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology and was a Zell Miller Scholarship recipient. During undergraduate school, she worked as a personal care assistant in Athens, and after graduating, served as a certified clinical medical assistant at North Atlanta Dermatology in Cumming, Ga. Corrie then attended Mercer University in Atlanta and received a Master of Medical Science degree in physician assistant studies.

An active volunteer, Corrie previously joined the Global Health Outreach Medical Mission to Honduras as a medical assistant and assisted in triaging patients at the Grace Village Medical Clinic in Clarkston, Ga.

She is certified in both basic and advanced cardiac life support. Corrie joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2023
