Areas of Interest

Sydney Kayler is a registered dietitian and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), with a strong background in both clinical medicine and nutrition. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients at Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates’ Lawrenceville and Snellville offices.

Sydney brings a unique perspective to gastroenterology, shaped by her early training as a dietitian and her deep interest in how nutrition and digestive health influence overall wellness. Prior to becoming a PA, she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings delivering individualized nutrition therapy for patients with complex conditions. This foundation allows her to take a whole-person approach to care, especially in cases where diet plays a critical role in disease management and prevention.

Her clinical interests include general gastroenterology, colon cancer prevention and screening, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, and nutrition-related GI disorders. Sydney is committed to partnering with patients to help them better understand their digestive health and achieve lasting improvements in quality of life.

With a foundation as a registered dietitian, I have always been interested in the ways that diet and the digestive system contribute to overall health and well-being.I also appreciate that gastroenterology allows me the opportunity to treat a wide range of conditions and improve quality of life for patients.
