Lindsey is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She began her career at the University of Iowa, where she served as a registered nurse in both the Cardiothoracic Unit and the Cardiac Procedure Unit. While there, Lindsey received The Daisy Award from The Daisy Foundation in recognition of her clinical skills and leadership, as well as her care and compassion for patients. She also was recognized by the University administration for promoting excellence in direct patient care.

Lindsey went on to earn her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from the Georgetown University School of Nursing and continued working in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Iowa as an advanced registered nurse practitioner.

She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), holds a certification in progressive care nursing through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Christian Medical Association, the American Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Lindsey relocated to Georgia to be closer to family and enjoy the warm weather of the South. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and Goldendoodle.

She joined Gastroenterology Associates of Athens in 2023.
