Dr. Weiss-Schorr is a graduate of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. After completing her internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Weiss-Schorr is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and the Golden Key National Honor Society. She is a recipient of the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation from the American Medical Women’s Association.

She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
