Aakashi holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Georgia in Athens. She received her master’s degree in health sciences from the physician assistant program at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Aakashi began her healthcare career as a nurse aid at an assisted living facility in Johns Creek. Most recently, she served as a physician assistant at an internal medicine clinic in Canton where she managed the care of adult patients suffering from acute illnesses to chronic diseases.

Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Aakashi is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.

She joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2016.
