I chose gastroenterology because it allows me to care for patients with a wide range of conditions that can have a real impact on daily life. Many digestive concerns are personal in nature, and I value the opportunity to build trust, listen closely, and help patients feel comfortable discussing their symptoms. Developing long-term relationships and helping patients feel better is what I find most rewarding about my work.
