Dr. Acker is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Acker obtained his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Acker's medical interests include small bowel enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy. He is affiliated with Memorial University Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Candler Hospital.
