David Rabin, MD

Dr. Rabin completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, N.Y., and was elected to serve on committees for Quality Performance and Improvement, as well as Information Services. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, an affiliate of Wayne State University.

In addition to presenting at national conferences, Dr. Rabin has been published in the American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse and conducted various research studies on digestive issues including chronic viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, vanishing bile duct syndrome, diverticulosis, and C. difficile infections. He has also served as an IBD community education speaker for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American College of Gastroenterology.

In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Rabin has a special interest in colon cancer prevention and the treatment of hepatitis C, GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, and C. difficile infections. For the second consecutive year, he was named to Atlanta magazine's 'Top Doctors' guide in gastroenterology by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd.

Dr. Rabin joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2014.
