Dr. Pham is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology. During that time, he received the award for Outstanding Teaching in Biology and was a member of Emory’s Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society.
After finishing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Pham received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine where he served as Emory Chapter President for the American College of Physicians and was the recipient of the Vietnamese American Medical Association Scholarship. He remained at Emory to complete his internship, residency, and fellowship in gastroenterology and digestive diseases. During fellowship, he served as chief fellow and as a member of the Morbidity and Mortality Committee and the Division of Digestive Diseases Educational Committee.
