I chose gastroenterology because the gastrointestinal tract is vital to our overall health. It influences our nutrition, immunity, and even mental well-being. GI disorders can significantly impact quality of life, and I am particularly passionate about providing patient-centered care that addresses both symptoms and root causes. I find fulfillment in educating and empowering patients to make informed health decisions regarding lifestyle changes, preventive care, and chronic disease management. By fostering strong communication and collaboration, I strive to support patients and their families in developing the best approach to their care.
