Dr. Gordon holds a B.S. from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. After completing her residency and fellowship in gastroenterology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, N.Y., she moved to Atlanta and practiced in Cobb County for two years before joining Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2005.
Dr. Gordon is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterological Association, the National Medical Association, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. She is active in the community and frequently speaks to area groups on GI topics. She stays current in the field by attending continuing education seminars as well as the Annual Clinical meeting of the American College of Gastroenterologists.
