Dr. Marchioni has a passion for gastroenterology and is a true advocate for her patients. She practices the art and science of medicine, building relationships and striving to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients and their families.

She uses educational materials, imaging, labs, and endoscopic procedures to diagnose conditions and track clinical progress. Dr. Marchioni recognizes the patient behind the diagnosis and believes that no one person is the same; she addresses her patients’ concerns and creates individualized treatment plans that fit into their lives. She believes patients can be empowered through knowledge and strong interpersonal connections that are integral to healing. She advocates for healthy lifestyle choices including preventive care and colorectal cancer screening, nutrition, exercise, positive relationships, and stress management.

Dr. Marchioni has subspecialty training in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and couples a holistic approach with collaborative medical and surgical management. She has a particular interest in caring for women with gastrointestinal diseases during pregnancy.

She has earned several honors throughout her training and career, including Tampa Magazine’s Top Doctor Award in Gastroenterology. She serves on the executive board for the Florida Gastroenterologic Society and as Patient Advocacy Chair for the FL Healthcare Professional Engagement Council of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
