Taylor is a graduate of Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biology. She completed her Masters of Medical Science in physician assistant studies at Mercer University in Atlanta.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Taylor served as a medical scribe at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and as a certified nursing assistant at Morningside of Gainesville, a senior personal care home.

She has been published in the Georgia Journal of Science and holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and mental health first aid. A member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, Taylor joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2021.
