Samuel Bennett is a certified nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) with a focus on digestive health and a strong interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He provides compassionate, individualized care for a range of gastrointestinal conditions—with special interest in Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, GERD, gastroparesis, and acid reflux—at the Athens, Commerce, and Watkinsville offices of Gastroenterology Associates of Athens, as well as through inpatient care at Piedmont Athens Regional.
Before joining the practice, Sam cared for patients with complex GI conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings at Athens Digestive Healthcare Associates. He previously worked as an ICU and float nurse at Piedmont Walton Hospital, delivering high-acuity care across multiple hospital units.
