A.J. earned his Bachelor of Health Sciences in exercise science from Georgia College & State University before completing his Master of Medical Science from Mercer University’s Physician Assistant Program.

He began his professional career working as a rehab technician at Georgia Bone and Joint Physical Therapy and Twin Lakes Physical Therapy. Most recently, A.J. served as a physician assistant at The Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute in Smyrna, Ga.

A.J. is a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). He holds certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support.

Beyond his clinical work, A.J. enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering for the Atlanta Braves.

A.J. joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2024.
