Dr. Simpson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and went on to the Medical College of Virginia for medical school. He completed his residency and GI fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Simpson then stayed on as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in Gastroenterology with Emory University while on staff at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He is trained in advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP and is an expert in capsule endoscopy.
