Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Bria began her medical career as a registered nurse in the gastroenterology unit at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital, where she developed an early interest in digestive health. She later worked as an endoscopy nurse at United Digestive before returning to school to earn her graduate degree as a family nurse practitioner.
In addition to gastroenterology, Bria has experience in urgent care and primary care settings. She brings a strong clinical foundation, a thoughtful approach to patient care, and a genuine interest in GI medicine to her role at Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates’ Camp Creek and Piedmont locations.

Gastroenterology was the area of medicine that first sparked my interest as a nurse. My early experience on a GI unit introduced me to the specialty, and I quickly found myself wanting to learn more. That interest led me to work in endoscopy and ultimately pursue my graduate degree so I could continue growing as a provider and care for patients in a more direct way.
