I love how gastroenterology impacts all areas of our health. Throughout my training, I have seen that there is such a strong connection between our digestion and our overall well-being. Gastrointestinal health, specifically hepatology, has become a passion of mine because it really takes a holistic look at a patient, involving all aspects of internal medicine and nutrition. I literally get to help treat my patients from top to bottom.
