Dr. Grow graduated with honors in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens where she was a member of several academic honor societies. She received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, and served as class president.
Dr. Grow completed her residency in internal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, and served as chief medical resident. She then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Emory, serving as chief fellow. During that time, she was awarded a grant to publish the GIzette Newsletter for the medical school’s Division of Digestive Diseases, and received the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America’s fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
