I was drawn to gastroenterology because of the variety it offers. I get to treat a wide range of conditions, not only through medical management but also with endoscopic procedures. But what I enjoy most is getting to know my patients over time and being a part of their long-term care. One of the most fulfilling parts of this field is seeing how much better someone can feel when their digestive health improves. Helping people feel well again, and often seeing that impact ripple into other areas of their life, is incredibly meaningful to me.
