Dr. Miguel Salazar is a gastroenterologist with Gastroenterology Group of Naples, seeing patients in Naples and Bonita Springs. He provides comprehensive care for digestive and liver conditions, combining clinical precision with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. 

He treats a wide range of GI concerns including colon cancer screening and prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, constipation, hepatitis, and liver disease. With additional certification in clinical nutrition, Dr. Salazar also has a strong interest in lifestyle-driven care, weight management, and the role of nutrition in gastrointestinal health. 

Dr. Salazar is drawn to the complexity and evolving nature of gastroenterology and is skilled in endoscopic procedures that support both diagnosis and treatment. He is committed to delivering evidence-based care that is both innovative and compassionate.

Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Salazar enjoys strength training, soccer, hiking, and spending time with his children. He’s an avid coffee drinker and is a fan of California sports teams like the Los Angeles Dodgers.
